Visualization Meditation

Mind's Eye is an interactive visualization meditation responsive web design created to help college students and adult users find and use meditation videos, articles, journals, vision boards, and goal setting tools to ensure personal growth opportunities.

Role
Lead UX designer from conception to completion. Responsible for interviews, paper and digital wireframes, low and hi-fidelity prototypes, conducting usability studies, accounting for accessibility, iterating on designs, and determining information architecture.

The Challange
Good mental health is vital to a society. While there are other meditation apps on the market, none bring together all of the resources needed to track users meditation habits and personal reflections in one location.
The Goal
To create an interactive app that allows users to track their personal meditation preferences through videos, articles, journals, goals, affirmations, and vision boards so they can visualize their progress of personal and positive mental health.

8. Takeaways
Impact:
Our users shared that the design was aesthetically pleasing and intuitive to use and navigate. The site was engaging through imagery and demonstrated a clear visual hierarchy. Users liked all the different things they could do on the app, like journaling, goal making, and vision boards.
What I learned
I learned that small changes can make a big impact to usability and user experience. Users like to be able to use voice to text to get their ideas out quickly. They also like to be able to save and search for their goals and journals easily, and keep a record of dates that these were created.
