The Challange

Good mental health is vital to a society.  While there are other meditation apps on the market, none bring together all of the resources needed to track users meditation habits and personal reflections in one location.

The Goal

To create an interactive app that allows users to track their personal meditation preferences through videos, articles, journals, goals, affirmations, and vision boards so they can visualize their progress of personal and positive mental health.

8. Takeaways

Impact:

Our users shared that the design was aesthetically pleasing and intuitive to use and navigate.  The site was engaging through imagery and demonstrated a clear visual hierarchy. Users liked all the different things they could do on the app, like journaling, goal making, and vision boards.

What I learned

I learned that small changes can make a big impact to usability and user experience. Users like to be able to use voice to text to get their ideas out quickly. They also like to be able to save and search for their goals and journals easily, and keep a record of dates that these were created.

9. Next Steps

Conduct additional usability studies on the final website.

Identify any new areas of need and ideate on any additional features.
